I’ve gone ahead and blocked this number. They’ve called me loads of times since January and just like others say, there’s never anyone when I pick up. Since I’m dealing with an accident claim right now, I accidentally answered once but won’t be doing that again. Any scam calls like these need to be reported to the police database. Just look up 'action fraud', find the 'police.uk' website, head to the 'reporting' area and submit it as a phishing incident. You don’t need to sign up and it’s just as quick as putting it on this site. If folks really wanna stop these crooks, they gotta report every attempt.

This number keeps ringing my Wife nonstop after a small accident we had recently. They know her first name and the date, but not much else when I ask. Got a call from someone claiming to be from the Motor Recovery Centre regarding an accident I supposedly had last September. They actually had some of my personal details, which freaked me out a bit. I told them I wasn’t interested and asked to be taken off their calling list. The guy just said alright and ended the call. They’re obviously scammers, but what’s really troubling is how they got hold of my info in the first place.

Just like someone else said, they rang me up saying I was owed compensation for a personal injury from an accident that insurance already handled. They even knew the other driver's name, so I think they were trying to get more info out of me. Ended up hanging up and blocked the number. The bloke sounded convincing and there was background noise like a busy office, so seemed legit at first - might have tricked me if not for the fact he got a basic detail about the accident wrong.
