So, this lady claimed she was calling from BTU for Camden Council, saying they're meant to do boiler inspections and maintenance. But i found it weird since my boiler was already checked earlier this year. I decided to ring their main office and the manager told me that the number isn’t linked to BTU at all. Honestly, completely confusing!

So this woman got in touch claiming she was from BTU, saying she worked for Camden Council and did boiler servicing and inspections. But it felt fishy to me cos I’d already had my boiler looked at earlier this year. I rang BTU’s main office, and the manager told me that number definitely isn’t one of theirs. Proper strange!

I received a call from this number claiming to be from BTU on behalf of Camden Council, wanting to schedule a quality control inspection. I was a bit sceptical since I’d only recently had my annual boiler service, and the caller ID showed a Guildford number, where BTU operates. They set up an appointment for today, but naturally, no one showed up! I attempted to ring back the number that had contacted me on Wednesday, but all I got was silence. So, I reached out to their main office, and unsurprisingly, they informed me that there was no booking made and no one had rung me. Quite peculiar, considering the woman who called mentioned contractors that I recognised. I've gone ahead and blocked that number!
