After a while, they managed to unmute their microphone and said they were "with a group of surveyors operating nearby..." obviously trying to get me involved with an insulation assessment or something like that. I asked why they were ringing a number that's on the TPS list. Their reply was something like, "This isn't a sales call at the moment," then rambled on with some nonsense about not being aware and that the number must have "accidentally been contacted". I just said cheerio and cut the call while they stumbled trying to recover their spiel.
