So this person rang me up, said they worked for some sort of agency - I didn’t quite catch what it stood for, plus they had a pretty noticeable foreign accent. They told me my internet was involved in illegal stuff, but when I asked what exactly, they just rattled off a bunch of vague crimes without any real details. They also had no clue who my internet provider was and wouldn’t give me any way to verify they were actually from the government like they claimed. Felt totally sketchy to me.
