It was the cops ringing me. They usually don't leave voice messages because of how sensitive some of their investigations are. Plus, if you share your voicemail with someone else, they wouldn't want anyone overhearing info about a case you might be involved in. So yeah, it's a bit complicated. Just keep in mind they tend to try calling a couple times throughout the day.

got a call from this number on 16th feb 20, the person said they were from surrey police and asked if i was someone called Mathew... obviously i said no and they said sorry then hung up

today, 24th feb 20, saw i missed another call from them. strange!

I’ve had a rather curious experience recently. A team from the police turned up on my doorstep, conducting inquiries about a van I purchased. Now, I must stress that the vehicle itself was above board and entirely legal. However, it seems the chap I bought it from had a bit of trouble with the law-he’d been nicked with quite a stash of cash in his possession. The officers were trying to ascertain whether he had been dealing with any dodgy money. Quite the turn of events, I must say!
