Got a call off them earlier and I had a feeling it was a casino on the other end. I asked the young woman directly if that was the case, but she dodged the question. So I just told her the person she was asking for isn’t available. It’s obvious they’re just trying to get folks to throw their cash away. Just got a call from this number, I'm an Asian bloke and they asked if I was someone named James. I asked straight away which company they were with, but they refused to say and kept talking about some amazing deal James supposedly missed. The ringtone I set for these is the most annoying robot sound I could find, so whenever it rings I just ignore it straight away! For my landline, I wait until it’s gone round six times before picking up. Usually, these calls come from dial-up programs that hang up after six rings to avoid paying for an answerphone. And yeah, I’m with the person above - why the heck is a casino even ringing??
