Got one of those dodgy automated calls claiming to be from Amazon Prime about my subscription... the usual spiel telling me to press 1 for this, press 2 for that. No way I’m pressing anything except the hang-up button and blocking the number. Anyone who presses a button on calls like that is almost certainly getting routed to some premium rate line charging a fortune per minute, or some other sneaky way to rip you off. Honestly, would a huge company like Amazon be calling from a regular phone number? Nah, it’s a dead giveaway it’s a scam.
