My number starts with 01483 too, so when I got the call I picked up straight away. A lady with an accent I couldn’t place said "morning" and claimed she was calling from the tech support about my PC. It didn’t take long for me to sense something was off, so I just told her the line was bad and ended up hanging up myself. Pretty clear it was a scam!
