BT’s network marked this number as a nuisance, so I ignored the call. After checking around online, it looks like this happens when people switch away from BT. The caller has rung me about eight times now. Since I can’t see BT labelling their own phone as a nuisance, and others say the caller claims to be the BT retention team, I reckon there’s a leak somewhere inside BT sharing customer info with scammers. Maybe it’s worth reporting to the ICO?
