They rang me loads of times, so I finally picked up and they were asking for a Benjamin. That’s not me, but I keep getting proper texts about van insurance quotes with that name (maybe they’ve got the wrong number). Feels like it could be some kinda insurance scam. They called a few more times after that but I just didn’t pick up. I’ve told them to take me off their list but obviously they’re ignoring that.

Got a call saying my internet was at risk and they were going to turn it off within a day. Then they started asking loads of personal stuff. I just ended the call quick. I got a call from this number with a recorded voice saying my internet IP was hacked and my service would get cut off in a day. They said to press 1 to talk to a tech, but ive already had fake calls like this from different numbers and told my internet company about them. This is definitely a scam, dont answer or call back, just report it.

Insurance companies probabbly got your number from earlier searches on comparison websites (or maybe the info was passed on by those sites). They or their automated systems reckon if they ring you nearly a year later, you might be thinking about renewing your insurance soon and hope to 'pitch' a deal before you've actually renewed or looked around for a better offer. It's not really a scam, just super pushy selling. And considering how hard they push their stuff, chances are they don’t have the best prices anyway. Best to just give it a miss.

If they’re still using a landline, why can’t the police track it to a proper address and get the bank details for the account holder? 01483671734 claimed to be from Microsoft and even gave an address to prove it was legit, yeah right. He was proper pushy, wouldn’t answer any of my questions and just kept telling me to put info into my computer. I told him straight he was a con and he seemed well offended, guess that bruise his ego, then he just ended the call.

Someone called me saying they gave me a quote for van insurance and asked when my public liability insurance expires. To me, it sounded dodgy, like some fake government agency just trying to find out if I actually have public liability insurance.

I received a rather dubious message from them, claiming they had provided me with a quote for van insurance, and were eager to find out when my public liability insurance would expire. Truth be told, it feels more like a shifty government agency fishing for information on my public liability coverage rather than any genuine interest in helping me out.

Got a call at 5.21pm asking for my son. I told them twice he’s not here and hung up. Then they rang back again at 6.12pm. Blocked the number straight away!

It's utterly frustrating, isn't it? Is there no way to tackle this? I'm inundated with call after call from these numbers. I've already flagged this one, but the legitimate STD codes seem to slip through the cracks, making it impossible to stop the incessant ringing. The same goes for the 01420 code as well. As soon as I spot these digits on my screen, it's an instant rejection; I have absolutely no intention of engaging in conversation with these callers.

I’ve been receiving 2 to 3 calls each day from this number-surely it’s high time that the telecom companies took action against such nuisances. I reckon it would be quite interesting to have a chat with someone from this company directly; perhaps I should try ringing their number myself!

They’ve been ringing me a couple times a day for about a week now. Every time it’s a lady with a posh voice saying "Hello" when the voicemail answers. I’ve seen others mention it’s an Asian voice, but that’s not what I’ve heard in my calls.

I receive multiple calls from this number throughout the day, and often there's just silence on the other end. However, when someone does actually speak, I tend to respond quite rudely. Strangely enough, it doesn't seem to deter them at all. With each call, my responses become increasingly abrasive. Perhaps one day they’ll tire of my antics! Until then, I’ll continue to relish these brief interactions!

This number has been ringing me quite a few times over the last week. Each time, it’s someone speaking with an Asian accent asking if I’ve been involved in a car crash or if I need to update my insurance. It’s pretty frustrating because I’ve got mates in Guildford and I keep thinking it’s them trying to get in touch.

Last time they called, and every time from now on when I pick up, I just say, "Please stop bothering me, they’ve never lived here and you must think I’m daft, but I’m not. I’m proper annoyed because as soon as I say that, they just hang up. The police can’t do owt and phone blockers do nothing. There’s really only one way to sort this now. I received a missed call from this number and when I returned the call, it connected me to Liability Compare. I've already made it clear that I do not wish to be contacted by them, and I'm also on the Telephone Preference Service list. I reiterated my request to have my number taken off their database and have even sent them a message through the 'Contact Us' section on their site. I just had a rather odd phone call from a woman with a foreign accent, inquiring about someone else's details. I’ve since decided to block the number. If it’s of any assistance to anyone, I highly recommend picking up a call blocker from Amazon UK. They’re quite nifty - you can easily stop any unwanted calls with the push of a red button on the device. Set up is a doddle too!

Got a call earlier from a lady abroad looking for another person. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now. If you want a hand with this, I’d suggest picking up a phone blocker on Amazon UK. Just press the big red button on the device to stop calls. Setting it up was pretty straightforward too.

Around 1 in the afternoon, they ring me up daily but there’s never anyone to talk to when I answer. It's super frustrating. I definitely don’t want or need any insurance from them. Why isn’t there a way to stop this, or better yet, slap them with a big fine?
