They keep asking for my husband. When I ask who’s calling, they just won’t say, only that it’s something private. They refuse to give me any phone number or reference code. All they say is they’ll ring back.

Despite their acknowledgment that the address they have on their system is incorrect, they have persistently called me for the past two years. 3577500 Capquest Debt collectors have been ringing my landline for over ten years now, trying to get hold of someone who, to my knowledge, has never lived here. Sometimes I’m polite and tell them the mistake, other times I’m blunt and just say “LEAVE ME ALONE”. They always say they’ll take my number off their list, but they never do! Proper liars. Surprisingly, he refused to disclose any information regarding his employer. He informed me that he will be calling again later in the afternoon. I've been receiving persistent calls from an unknown number. They rarely leave a message, but today, an individual with a Scottish accent left a voicemail specifically asking for me by name. Curiously, they also greeted with a couple of "hellos" as if unaware that it was a voicemail. Strangely, I am unable to call the number back as there is no ringing sound, nor any response whatsoever. I have taken the proactive step of blocking the caller!

Was waiting for an important call so picked up the phone around 8pm. About half an hour after answering, there was silence for a while, then a guy spoke and asked for someone I'd never heard of. He then said sorry and hung up. It's the same number that called me before and left loads of voicemail messages with quick, mumbling bits I couldn’t make out.
