Normally I dont answer calls from numbers I dont know but I was waiting for a mate and thought it might be them so I answered. The person on the phone had a mans voice with an accent I couldnt place and was asking for my late husband by his name - really strange! 01483 355109 Got a call from a woman saying she was from some transport office and that I could claim compensation for diesel emissions. They had no clue what kind of car I own, and she also wanted to know if anyone else in my family drives diesel. Total load of rubbish! She had a thick foreign accent which made it hard to follow, and I had to ask more than once why she was even calling. Really nosy and weird. Then she just hung up.

Every time I pick up the phone, it cuts off if I don’t say anything straight away. It’s probably some sort of automated system waiting for a response. The calls just keep coming, both in the morning and at night. I have a strong suspicion it’s some sort of sales crew trying to peddle their wares.
