Some bloke rang me claiming to be from BT, said there were 9 people using my internet line and that if I didn’t do what he told me on my computer, my connection would be cut off and I’d be blacklisted. Total scam, don’t fall for it!

Got a call about some investment thing I’d checked out a while back, and they even knew my name which threw me off a bit. Told them I’d thought about it but never went for it. He was spewing a load of rubbish but I played along. Then he started banging on about how this new deal was completely insured and supposedly risk-free, promising to make anywhere from 31 to 50% in 6 to 18 months?! Sounds a bit too good to be true, don’t you think? Yeah, right... no thanks!

Just got a call from some bloke trying to rope me into an investment scheme - total scam. He said I'd chatted with his mate before and wanted to talk about some financial opportunity, which is rubbish. I don't do investments or ask about them. What's worse is he knew my name, which makes me think they're using hacked info or other dodgy sources (I'm on the TPS and don’t take unsolicited calls). It was a man, spoke perfect English. I'm definitely reporting this to the police. Watch out, folks!
