I accidentally picked up a call from this number yesterday, and it was one of those fake Amazon scams asking to press 1 or something. Since then, it feels like they’ve opened the floodgates - already got 5 calls before 9:30 this morning. If you’ve got an iPhone, there’s a handy option in settings to silence calls from numbers you don’t recognise so your phone doesn’t ring. Just search for “silence unknown callers” in the settings. In my experience, these scam calls usually give up after not getting an answer for a few weeks.
