I just received a call from someone insisting that I pay £70 for sending a parcel. They were incredibly pushy about it!

My mum, who’s 92 and lives on her own, has been getting constant calls from some company that sounds like “Vital Phynion” or something like that. They also ring from another number, 01622534014. I tried calling back and there’s this same automated message which tells you to hold on, then says “all counsellors are busy” and wants you to leave your number so they can get back to you. They’ve been asking my mum for her bank card info, but luckily she’s still sharp and isn’t falling for it. Sadly, I know plenty of older people who might not be so careful. It’s really frustrating feeling powerless about it all, especially when there’s no way to block or reach these scammers. Any advice would be appreciated!
