I've been receiving incessant calls - about three times daily - from someone claiming to be associated with the NHS. The number is quite similar to that of the Royal Surrey Hospital, so I thought I’d do a bit of digging. After reaching out to the hospital, I found out that this number is definitely not theirs. Quite dodgy, really!

I’ve been receiving persistent calls from this number, usually just a brief ring with no one on the line when I pick up. When I called back, I got a recorded message claiming it was an NHS call, promising to return within 24 hours. This has been happening for nearly three weeks now, so I’ve decided to block the number altogether.

I’ve received calls from this number about five or six times over the past few weeks. Just today, someone on the other end asked for a certain Victoria Franklin. I took the opportunity to mention that I’ve been enduring these calls for quite a while now, especially since my husband was undergoing cancer treatment at Guildford Hospital. Sadly, he has since passed away. The caller assured me they would remove my number from their list, but since the call was withheld, I can’t help but question if it was all above board.

On 3rd February 2017, I received a couple of calls from this number, but they hung up straight away each time.

This number keeps ringing me consistently, and when I pick up, I get a voicemail that says something about a Victoria Franklin having some sort of appointment. At the conclusion, it prompts you to press "no" if you're not this person, followed by an apology. Quite odd, isn’t it?
