I just got a weird call for the first time from someone saying they're from “the bank” but they didn’t say which one. It was a recorded message telling me there were two charges on my card - one for £399.99 saying it was from Amazon (which sounds normal) and another for £1100 saying it was for an overseas transaction. They said if I’d approved those payments, press 1 and stuff. Bit dodgy if you ask me.
