They rang me once more, talking about my washing machine warranty being up. I asked, "What washing machine? I've got a Bosch." They said, "We don't deal with Bosch." Then they just cut me off. Lol.

Received a call claiming to offer an extended warranty for my washing machine. When I asked which brand, they said Bosch, but we don’t own one. I then asked where they found my number, and they just said it was beyond their pay grade. I requested to speak to someone with more authority, and they transferred me to a “supervisor” who quickly hung up, saying they only wanted to talk to my husband. It all seemed suspicious to me.

I got a call from some delayed automated message, and they asked if I was "Mr Bradshaw" or something like that, which I obviously wasn’t. When I told them they’d got the wrong number, they sounded quite polite about it.

this bloke rang up saying he was from asg and was really eager to tell me my washing machines warranty ran out today. he pushed me to renew it right away and claimed the manufacturer had informed him. he wouldn’t even say the brand of my machine! asked me to hang on the line and kept pestering. wouldn’t give his number either, said he was working remotely from home. i asked why there were loads of people chatting in the background, he claimed he was on a conference call! he had an answer for just about everything but hung up when i accused him of trying to scam me.

I got a call from a woman with a British accent in the Tonbridge area. She asked if I was Mr XX, then mentioned something about insurance for my washing machine at YY - even threw in my address. When I asked "what do you mean?", she just hung up on me. Weird!

Got a call from a woman named Grace, sounded English, saying she was from ASG about a washing machine warranty. She even knew my address! As soon as I told her we didn’t have any warranty, she just dropped the call. Quite dodgy if you ask me.

i got a call from a woman claiming she was from some company called ‘ast’. she made sure i was mrs and confirmed my address just to be sure. then she mentioned something about our washing machine’s warranty. she sounded quite polite throughout. she asked if everything was running fine - i told her yes but quickly added that we weren’t interested in buying any extra warranty. she hung up before i could even finish what i was saying.

So this guy called Lewis phoned me up saying my washing machine warranty had expired and he wanted to talk through renewing it then and there. I told him I don’t sort stuff like that out on calls and asked him to post the info instead. He just cut the call straight away. My warranty isn’t even up yet, so I’m pretty certain it was a dodgy scam attempt.
