I must admit, I got rather muddled when this cold caller rang me. Initially, I mistook her for someone from my insurance firm and, foolishly, decided not to end the call. Just as I was about to disclose my name, it dawned on me that I should have put it down. When I questioned her on how she managed to obtain my mobile number, she claimed that I had submitted an online form related to a compensation claim. I responded by expressing my concern that the company had apparently 'snatched' my mobile number without my permission and insisted they take it off their list. At that point, she abruptly terminated the call. I'll keep everyone updated on what unfolds next.
