Not sure why this number is showing it belongs to KCOM. They’ve actually been handling the city’s phone network since 1904, according to their own site, making them a pretty unique firm separate from BT. So, answering a call isn’t automatically dangerous. Just keep it simple - ask who’s calling and what they want. If anything feels off, just hang up and block the number. Today, it buzzed my phone three times between 7.08 and 7.14pm, which is kind of odd since that’s after working hours. I’ve unblocked it for now just to see if they ring back over the next couple of days. If they do, I’ll be extra cautious about how I answer.
