I dialled 1471 to trace the number, which I discovered originates from the Hull area associated with Kingston Communications, not BT. We're actually awaiting a visit from some friends from Canada who will be in Hull, so I tried to return the call. However, I was greeted with a message stating, 'this number is not recognised'. After that, I reached out to BT and, after a lengthy wait of about 40 minutes, they informed me there was an issue with my line at the exchange. They promised an engineer would come to resolve it, and I was given the reference number VOL No. 012-113205293664.
