1 yearI couldn’t make out much of what they were saying, they kept speaking over me. Claimed they could cut my phone charges by 40% and said they were from Vodafone. They didn’t seem to have a clue who I was or my monthly bill amount. Ended the call pretty quickly.Vodaphone1 yearMy phone showed a suspected spam warning when I got the call. A woman with an Asian accent claimed to be ringing from Three Network. I told her I left Three back in March 2022. When she asked who I’m with now, I said it wasn’t her business. She kept saying they had amazing deals and were happy to work with whatever network I’m on. I kept saying I wasn’t interested and asked why I’d want to go back to Three when they didn’t want to keep me as a customer years ago. She just kept repeating they had a great offer today. Eventually, she just hung up on me.3 Network31 yearI got a call from a bloke speaking with a thick Asian accent claiming he was from Vodafone. He said Vodafone had been getting complaints about their charges and wanted to offer me a 40% discount. He mentioned they’d send me a text with a code. I asked him why they couldn’t just add the discount straight to my account and then hung up. Shortly after, I got a message supposedly from Vodafone warning me not to share the code with anyone. I didn’t even open it and just deleted it straight away.Vodafone1 yearGot a call from some bloke with a strong Indian accent pretending to be from the mobile company 3. I couldn’t make out what he was saying at first, so I asked him to repeat himself. Once it was clear it was total rubbish, I just ended the call. Definitely a dodgy scammer trying to pull a fast one.1 yearI got a call from this number right after getting a couple of dodgy texts warning me about some fake fraud on my bank card. They didn’t leave any voicemail at all. Feels like it’s all linked to me.Submit Your Own Report (01482 798033)
