I got a robocall from a woman saying she was from Visa Secure, claiming there was a problem with my account and that £600 had been taken. It told me to press 1 to talk to someone. I didn’t press anything and the call just ended right there. How on earth do these scammers get hold of private numbers like mine? It’s proper worrying.

I got a robo-call saying it was from 360 Security - the same software we have on our laptop - warning me about a £600 transaction trying to go through our bank. They asked me to press 1 to speak to someone. Normally I’d ignore it, but since it was 360, I pressed 1 and got through to a guy with an Indian accent who started saying I had to upgrade my protection right away. That’s when I got suspicious and just said, “Fine, I’ll do it another time,” then I quickly ended the call.
