When I asked where they were based, they sidestepped the question and demanded my name. I only mentioned my first name, but they seemed baffled and inquired if the phone belonged to a Susan something-or-other. Strangely enough, he had all my personal information - name, address, you name it. He then surprisingly inquired about the expiration date on my card. I pointed out that signing up for TPS doesn't require any card details, as it’s a free service, and just like that, he terminated the call. He remained tight-lipped and introduced himself as David Williams with an ID number of BT123568. I promptly hung up. Almost immediately after, I was bombarded with more calls that I chose to ignore, with the caller display showing either Out of Area or 028757300.
