Got two calls from this number, asking for someone I don’t know and claiming to be Wescot. This was on our landline. They want you to press 1 if you’re the person they want, or 2 if not. Then if you try 1471, it says the number is this one, but when you check your call log, it’s a totally different number. Definitely looks like a scam to me. The number that shows when they ring is the one above, but if you check your phone’s call list, it shows something else entirely.

I’d recommend selecting the “choose to refuse” option. It’s roughly £3.75 a week but honestly, it’s worth every penny just to put an end to these persistent pests ringing me up. Apparently, this so-called debt has been handed off to Blair Oliver and Scott. Those folks had no luck at all. I've been inundated with calls from this number, or ones that are very similar, beginning with 014, and it's becoming rather tiresome. Whenever I do answer, there's either silence on the line or the caller abruptly disconnects.
