I think Promise Life, the prepayment funeral plan folks, got my phone number through some competition website I signed up for ages ago. It was one of those surveys where you tick what info you want, and I had specifically asked for emails only - no phone contact at all. Somehow, they still ended up with my number, probably snagged it from that site. I told them I wasn’t interested anymore since I’d already sorted everything out. We’ll see if they ring me back or not. Fingers crossed they don’t!
