Got a persistent caller leaving automated messages nonstop, even tho I’ve blocked them, they still keep dropping voicemails. Proper annoying!

For six months now, I’ve been tormented by constant harassment, including letters arriving from Hull. Despite changing my address, they somehow tracked me down. They’re after some overdue electricity payments linked to an old residence, blissfully unaware that I always topped up my electricity, meaning I never fell into any debt in the first place.

Got three letters from some dodgy firm based in Hull and Huddersfield, all came back unopened. Then they started ringing me on my landline, proper hassle. It's honestly so irritating. There’s gotta be some way to stop these nasty scam artists for good.

They rang me 3 times in just one week with some automated voice asking for a person who doesn’t actually live here. You press 1 if they do, 2 if not, and so on. These Westcott debt collectors just won’t stop ringing me, asking for someone with my first name, but it’s not me they want! They keep saying they’ll remove my number, and I've told them a million times to stop calling, but they just keep on! I don’t owe anyone a penny. Absolute muppets!!!!

I’ve blocked the number but they still manage to ring me. It’s one of those automated calls, not sure who’s behind it. I just hang up straight away when I hear the robotic voice. There has to be a way to block them for good without having to turn off call forwarding, right?

I've been blocking them, but they keep switching numbers. So far, I've come across about 8 different versions of this number, all starting with 01482#. Each time the message sounds like it's from a robot. The moment I catch that automated voice, I block and delete immediately. No clue who they are. Seems like this company uses some kind of automated calling system. This happens every few years, then just fades away as suddenly as it began.

I’m currently on a debt management scheme with Stepchange and they’re the only company that won’t accept a repayment offer under it. So basically, they keep chasing me for money I just don’t have, since all my extra cash is already going towards other debts. They call me all the time, sometimes as early as 8 in the morning and as late as 9 at night. It’s always those automated calls. Honestly, I’m really fed up with them.
