why is it that most of these calls seem to come from people with asian accents? i get at least 4 or 5 every day. i keep telling them i’m not sharing any info over the phone. told the last one he’s a bit dense and to jog on. now they’ve switched up the number, calling from somewhere else. surely there’s something that can be done about this! at the end of the day, it’s just harassment. i’d probably get called racist for saying this, but i’m not.

I put an answering machine message saying I'll ignore calls from numbers I don't know or telemarketers, but it seems like no one actually pays attention to it. We're still getting around 10 calls each day, you’d think they’d have got the hint by now.

he asked if i was the one on the line, but i just ended the call quick cause i knew it was a scam. they keep ringing from blocked numbers, but now they’re switching to real area codes to trick people. i mean, i actually picked up once cos the number had the code of a place where my family lives! you’d think there’d be some way to stop this!

Some bloke called Stuart from something like Consumer Choice rang me the other day. He started off by saying it wasn’t a sales call but then straight away began asking loads of questions about where I got my TV from. Didn’t even bother checking if I was up for a quick chat first. I told him I wasn’t having it and just ended the call.

classic scam call that never actually made it through my call blocker so the phone didnt even ring. oddly enough i kinda miss picking up these annoying numbers just to mess about a bit. when they ask 'whos your electric supplier?' i tell em i aint got one, unless you count the old exercise bike connected to a dynamo in the back room. takes forever just to get enough juice for a brew. and gas? nah mate, all natural, straight from me and trapped in a bag!

i’m so tired of getting calls loads of times a day from different numbers, sometimes it even shows no number. now i just let the answerphone pick up all the calls and only bother if i recognise the caller. this one didn’t even bother leaving a voicemail.

Ive had this number ring my place like 10 times just today! I picked up once and it was a guy with an Asian accent doing one of those surveys, asking about my broadband and bills and all that. Then he started asking for personal stuff, so I just told him no thanks and ended it. But since then, they keep ringing non stop. This is getting really annoying, cant they just leave us alone?
