I received one of those pesky automated calls claiming to be from BT, and it sent my head spinning! The recorded message ominously warned that my phone line and internet would be cut off, and then bizarrely urged me to press 1 if I wanted to prevent this from occurring. It's obviously a scam, completely trying to pull the wool over people's eyes!
