Just got a call claiming it was from Amazon about renewing Prime, but it was clearly a scam. The caller ID showed a number with my local area code, probably to trick you. They said my Prime membership had expired and that £99 would be taken from my Visa card. Even if you don’t have either, they’re hoping you get confused. Pressing 1 or 2 connects you to someone asking for personal info, including bank details. It’s a dodgy, well-known scam. If you hear a robot voice like that, just hang up and don’t stress about it.
