Got a call from an automated voice claiming to be from Amazon, saying my bank account would be charged £79.99 unless I pressed 1. So, I pressed it and got connected to someone who was giving all sorts of excuses. I asked him which bit of 'No' he didn’t get and then just hung up. Later, I called the number back and a woman answered saying it was a private residence. Definitely just a scam.

I CALLED BACK ON THE MISSED NUMBER AND ASKED TO SPEAK TO A FRIEND USING A MADE UP NAME AS IF SHE WAS AN EMPLOYEE.
