Got a call from 01482506229, then it switched to a number with an international dialling code. A woman with a foreign accent asked me about the Telephone Preference Service. When I asked where she was calling from, she said it was an International Call Centre in the Philippines. I told her I was already registered on the TPS, and she replied, “Thanks, I’ll take you off our list, though it might take up to 48 hours.” Then she just ended the call.

Had another call just today from a lady with an asian accent, said she was from Save Today and wanted to ask a few questions. She asked what brand of washing machine I have, I told her a different one than what she mentioned. Later in the afternoon, a different person rang me saying my insurance was up for renewal and tried to get my details. I told them I wasn't interested but they keep ringing anyway. It's so annoying!

Answered the call, heard nothing for a couple of seconds then it just hung up. A lady with a foreign accent was asking for Mrs S. Straight away I blocked the number. Fingers crossed the silent ringing didn't charge me anything.

Seems like this number's been taken over by scammers. When you call, it just says 'This number is temporarily out of order.' Best not to reply or engage.

What was weird is they said it was confidential, but you’d think they’d at least tell you who they’re working for. Strange!
