Some guy called claiming to be from BT, saying our contract had to be renewed, and asked for my details so he could sort it out. I told him I'd check our contract online first before doing anything. He kept insisting it was a legit call and not a scam. When I logged into our account the next day, I saw the contract was still valid for another six months. I rang BT to confirm if they’d called us, and the lady said nobody from BT had contacted us, so it had to have been a scam.
