Got a call from a number claiming I’d been in an accident and was eligible for compensation - total scam, don’t fall for it!

Got calls from this number about 15 times within just an hour! They pretended to be from HMRC, TSB, First Direct, EE, and even the Police. I checked with all those companies and the police, and they all confirmed it’s a scam. Reported them straight away.

He kept insisting he could clear up 80% of my debts and bugged me to list all the debts I owed. He claimed it was some kind of government scheme. Said their investigation team dug up my financial details and suggested maybe I’d just forgotten I asked them to assist me. Bit dodgy if you ask me.
