They promised the call would just take 40 seconds, but when I declined, they said twice that they weren't trying to sell me anything and then just hung up. Honestly, the whole thing was way shorter than 40 seconds. I can’t say I felt like it was worth my time.

I got a call in the afternoon, and when I picked up, all I could hear was a TV in the back but no one was talking. It was kinda strange honestly.

Someone rang claiming they had been in an accident and needed cash for surgery. I just hung up right away, it’s obviously a scam. Who even calls strangers to ask for money like that over the phone?
