Yesterday I got a call from a woman claiming she was with Microsoft saying there was an issue with our computer. My husband just said he wasn’t sure what she was on about and ended the call. Right after, a bloke rang me and as soon as I answered, he snapped aggressively, ‘Why’d you hang up?’ I told him we used an Apple Mac, but he insisted he had evidence of a Microsoft device at our place. We ended up in a pretty heated row, and even when I mentioned I’d report him to the Telephone Preference Service (which we’re signed up to), he kept shouting over me. I finally just hung up and blocked the number. Honestly, one of the worst phone calls I’ve had!
