They keep ringing me and leaving messages asking me to ring back. It’s been going on for a few days and honestly, feels like a total scam. I just don’t pick up because it’s getting a bit much - feels like they’re just pestering me!

I got a robocall where some automated message asked me if I was Tracey Lopez Morino and wanted a yes or no. Seems like a phishing scam cause I've had a few calls just like this, all using the same voice but different phone numbers each time. I ended up blocking those numbers and just did the same with this latest one.

I received a dodgy phone call from someone claiming to be from the police, saying it was regarding an incident from October. To be honest, I didn’t have anything to share since I’m nowhere near Hull. I told him I was a bit busy and asked if he could ring back later, but really, I just said I had no remarks to make and ended the call.

Got a call from this number, didn’t answer and checked it here on this handy site. Decided to block it after reading the reviews. I usually silence all unknown callers and send them straight to voicemail. Since doing that, I've noticed way less annoying calls and most of the dodgy ones don’t get through at all.

It says it’s a Hull number but it’s definitely NOT from Hull! It’s some dodgy call centre overseas trying to con you out of money. I told them I worked for the UK police and asked who she was and what her job was. She ended the call straight away!

Erm, it’s defo not a scam. There’s a record showing money’s owed. Either pay what you owe to the right person, or declare bankruptcy. If you reckon you don’t owe anything, then there’s a serious issue. It might be identity theft or maybe the address or phone number was used by someone else before you and they racked up the bills. You really need to deal with this or your credit score will be trashed.

I got a letter telling me to ring them, but it was sent to my old name. Wescot/2F seems like some debt collection firm. I don’t owe anything, they said they just wanted to update info for Barclaycard. They already knew my new name and address though. Whether it was right or not, I gave them my birthdate but nothing else about money. Since then, I’ve emailed them with small questions just to see how they respond.

This number isnt a scam, its actually a debt collection firm. Wescot Credit Services is a legit credit company and 2F is just one of their trading names. I was getting letters about debts for my ex addressed to me, so I opened one up and called them to give details of her new place.

This number isnt trying to scam you. Its a debt collection agency. Wescot Credit Services deal with debts and 2F is just another name they trade under. I was getting some debt letters for someone who used to live with me, so i finally opened one and called them to give them her updated address.

They sent a letter that looked just like the others, but if you look carefully the name says WESCOT not WESTCOT. I spoke to Westcot and the reference number they had wasn’t theirs at all, the phone number didn’t match, and they didn’t have any record of me. The name on the letter was actually an old surname I stopped using years ago.

I've been getting loads of calls from this number every day, on both my landline and mobile. I blocked it on my mobile but apparently have to pay my phone company to block it on my landline. When I pick up, there's no one there, and if I let it go to voicemail, it asks me to press 1 or 2, which I never do. This number has been ringing me at work for ages. When I pick up, there’s a recorded female voice saying "This is an important message for Raymond Mattagar." It then tells you to press 1 if you are him, or 2 if you’re not. We’ve got no one here by that name. I’ve been just hanging up for weeks, but today I pressed 2 to see if it would end the calls. Today I got a letter that looked really official, like those tear-off kind, saying to call this number and ask for someone named ‘Angie.’ Turns out it’s F2, which is just another name for Wescot Credit Services. They try to make it sound all formal and serious, but it’s just a scare tactic to get people to ring them. Don’t fall for it, it’s all about squeezing you for money. I don’t owe them a penny. Got a message saying 2F wants me to ring this number 01482380680. I did a quick credit check myself and surprisingly, I’m clear of any debts or loans. No letters or anything from companies about money I owe. So before freaking out, my advice is DON'T RING THEM, that’s how they figure out you’re an actual person. If you do call, make sure to hide your number and address. I’d hold off until someone actually shows up at your door or it’s from one of your old loans or cards.

So this firm named Wescot keeps ringing, they're a debt collection agency chasing debts for places like PayPal credit. Even after my lawyers got in touch explaining my situation - I got paralysed last year and am still trying to cope, knowing I’ll never walk and in constant pain - they just don’t care. Guess they’re only after their money, no matter what. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.

Definitely some sort of scam or dodgy lot ringing about debts or loans. When you answer, just don’t say a word and leave the phone down for about 10 minutes. I’ve tried this 5 or 6 times in the past week and they never call again, guessing they realise you’re not gonna react.

Similar to someone else’s experience, I got a letter that looked official (with those tear-off bits) telling me to ring this number, saying it was from 2F (Wescot Credit), but all it gave was a reference number with no explanation. If you happen to be up to no good, one might wonder why you wouldn’t anticipate receiving multiple calls each day. On the flip side, if you’re absolutely innocent and have made your stance clear to the caller, any attempts to contact you-whether it’s daily, weekly, or even monthly-could easily be deemed harassment. And let’s be clear, harassment is a criminal offence in its own right.

This particular number has been pestering us with calls a minimum of twice daily. Every time, it’s some sort of automated message inquiring if we happen to be Gemma Watson, urging us to get in touch. At that stage, we simply hang up. Unfortunately, the incessant ringing doesn’t seem to let up.

A bit different from the usual scam calls - I got this official looking envelope, like the ones banks send with pins. It even had those tear-off bits and a plain blue back. The twist was they wanted me to call them on the number provided. The fine print said '2f is a trading name of wescot credit services'. Earlier today, we received the exact same piece of mail addressed simply to "the occupier," listing a phone number for Bob-01482380680. It struck me as rather odd, so it ended up in the bin without a second thought. I suspect it was just another advertising leaflet, as is typically the case with such things. Huge appreciation to those who have clarified who this mysterious number belongs to! Cheers!

I received a call earlier today. If you could, please get in touch with Claire at 01482380680. I did a quick search for PO BOX 137 and this seemed to check out. After we rang them, it turned out they were after someone who hasn't resided here for more than five years. They assured us they'd remove our address from their records.

I recently received a rather intriguing postcard featuring the number 01482 380680, which seems to be on the hunt for the former occupant of our residence. So, we decided to give 'Westcot' a bell using that number to inform them. They assured us that they would remove our address from their records. The person I spoke to was incredibly polite and helpful - a real pleasure to converse with!

We've received one of those cards as well! It turns out it was from a debt collection agency. However, it wasn't addressed to us, but rather to the former owners of the property.

I keep receiving a whole lot of silent calls lately. As a young woman living by myself, it makes me quite anxious.

Received a card sent to 'the occupier' that instructed to call Lynsey on the exact number provided, along with a reference number. We attempted to make the call, but there was no answer. It's quite puzzling, as we were curious and felt that this situation was rather strange.

I recently received a postcard addressed to "The Occupier", which had Sally’s name on it. As someone who's elderly and lives by themselves, it’s left me quite unsettled. My daughter reached out to these folks, and they assured her they would remove us from their records.

This afternoon, I received a blank postcard that had this number scribbled on it, instructing me to call someone named Alex. I reckon it’s probably meant for the previous occupants, as we've been inundated with hefty bills addressed to them.

We received a card earlier today urging us to contact a Finley West. Curious about the number (01482 380680), I decided to investigate, and it turns out it belongs to Wescott Credit Services Ltd in Hull. I wouldn't recommend calling them! Once they have your number, it seems they bombard you with phone calls-about a dozen times a day! We're now planning to visit the Citizens Advice Bureau to find a way to put a stop to this nuisance.
