I got a voicemail claiming my IP was 'at risk' and that my internet service was about to be cut off. They told me to hit option 1 to talk to a 'technician', but I didn’t bother. There's no way to know if you’d just end up connected to some call centre abroad charging an eye-watering rate per minute. Honestly, don’t get caught out by this - if there was a real issue with your IP, your internet provider would contact you directly.
