Got a call from someone saying they were with Open Reach and that my router had some kind of infection. They asked how many gadgets were hooked up to it. I said I was tied up and asked if they could ring back plus their number. Then they just ended the call on me.

Called claiming I was owed money and wanted my birth date to verify my identity before sending it. I deal with sensitive info at work, so I immediately knew not to share anything. Hopefully, others stay cautious and don’t hand over personal details!
