I don't have a clue who they are; they simply sat on the line waiting for us to say something, then promptly hung up on us.

I've been getting loads of calls from Hull numbers like 01482 359200 and 01482 359252. Every time I pick up, they just drop the call. It’s been happening like four or five times daily. What a bunch of idiots!

This afternoon, we received a call from them, and despite being a bit of a nuisance, the gentleman on the line was persistent in pushing the idea that interest rates are set to increase and that they could potentially help us save some cash. We politely declined but he pressed us for reasons. After a bit of back and forth, we agreed to hear him out, only to say we would need to gather some information first. I promptly muted the phone and returned my focus to what I was doing. Honestly, who knows how long he was left hanging, but if they think it's acceptable to waste our time, we can certainly turn the tables!

Called us at 4 this afternoon, but there was nobody on the line-just dead air followed by some automated woman saying 'goodbye' before hanging up. What a bunch of numpties! TouchLocal has details for Next Step Money, located on the first floor of a house in Kingston, Priory Park, HESSLE, HU13 9PB.

Curiously enough, we received a call the other day from a debt collection agency named Westcott, hailing from Hull, on Tuesday, and now yet another number from Hull is persistently trying to get in touch with us. Naturally, we decided to let the phone ring out and then looked it up using 1471 and found this site. We can’t shake the suspicion that these two organisations are somehow connected, as we don’t know a soul in Hull and are quite far away from that area, hundreds of miles, in fact. It’s yet another instance where we’re opting to disregard these calls; if something truly important needed our attention, we’re certain they’d send us a letter instead!

Ah, we’ve had a similar experience. They’ve started calling themselves Bright Mortgages now. The chap who called us was incredibly rude and insistent; he clearly wasn’t interested in what we had to say. The moment we mentioned that our mortgage only requires a few hours of work from us each week, he immediately tried to pressure us into a mortgage review. It was quite frustrating!

I just had a rather forceful phone conversation with a firm identified as Next Step. They claimed I’m entitled to a PPI refund linked to a loan I didn't even know I had. The individual on the line was quite pushy, insisting that I provide my banking information. I ended the call straight away.

It's rather amusing that Next Step Company has the audacity to position themselves as the remedy when, in fact, they're the very ones who hawked PPI in the first place! If you delve into Bright Finance, you’ll find a right nest of loan sharks. The chaps at the helm pocketed a fortune pushing loans wrapped with PPI to individuals with poor credit ratings. Amazingly, these same individuals are now pulling the strings at Next Step, cashing in once more by dishing out claims for compensation to those they duped into purchasing PPI. It’s quite baffling how they can profit off their own blunders time and again! Furthermore, their tentacles reach out to affiliates like First Plus and Nemo, among others. Now, they’re shamelessly leveraging the data from all those clients to fatten their wallets even more. Still sceptical? Have a look into the directors, the staff, and even their social media presence. It's all there. Cheers, Stevie

Just had a call at my place! For those of you who are fed up with these types of nuisance calls, I’d highly recommend the BT6500. It’s been a game changer for me. This number keeps calling my home four times daily without fail. I never answer, and they seem too lazy to leave a voicemail. I've even attempted to use the so-called scam call blocker, but it hasn’t helped at all. While it's commendable that this annoying service provides employment for some, isn’t it reasonable that once I've politely declined their offer, they should remove me from their list for at least a year? True, people's situations can evolve, but the majority of us feel the same: if you keep pestering me, you’re only going to get a firm ‘no’!

Next Step Finance keeps hounding us, despite my clear objections. They’re like a terrier with a chew toy-once they latch on, they won't let go. It's become so overwhelming that I’ve had to seek advice from a solicitor; it’s really gotten out of hand now.

The individuals employed by these firms seem to be at a rather primitive stage in the grand scheme of things. In fact, the humble amoeba might just be a step above them on the evolutionary scale, and we all recognise that the amoeba is essentially the bottom of the barrel when it comes to life forms.
