Today (05/07/21) just after 11 in the morning, this number rang my landline. They left a voicemail without saying who they were, only mentioning some "security check on a purchase" and asked me to press 1 to talk to someone. When I rang back, it just kept ringing with no answer. Looks like a dodgy scam to me! I’ve already blocked the number straight away.

got a call from some foreign lady on a pre-recorded message saying amazon was gonna take £400 and a £1300 transfer from my account; weirdly the exact same message popped up yesterday but from another number. definitely a scam!
