Some bloke with a strong accent called, his English was a bit all over the place. He said his name but I couldn’t catch it properly. Claimed he was from BT and that my internet had been hacked or something, said strangers were messing with it. I told him I wasn’t using my laptop and that the internet was perfectly fine, I’ve had scams like this before. When I pushed back, he got all defensive and then just ended the call. I’ve now blocked the number. This is like the third call this week from different numbers saying the exact same thing.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, and the woman didn't say who she was. She claimed my card was used for a couple of transactions around £1000 each. She said if I hadn’t made them, I should press 1, or press 2 to chat with someone. Just to mention, I’m listed ex-directory.

Got a weird call from some automated voice saying it was Amazon. It told me there was a £400 iPhone purchase waiting on my account. They gave a link to click to cancel it - felt dodgy as heck, probably a scam.
