Got a dodgy call pretending to be from Amazon, total scam.

I got a call from someone with a female American accent claiming to be from Visa, but they didn’t mention any specific card type. They said there were odd payments on my PayPal and eBay accounts, which wasn’t true at all. The stuff they said about my activity with those sites was totally made up.

I got a call from someone pretending to be Amazon, bothering an elderly gentleman by saying he had unpaid bills with them.

Just got a call from a very similar number, same area code but different last digits, and it was the same automated American voice telling me my visa card had been charged. Totally sounds like a scam to me, so definitely don't trust it!
