I got a voicemail from a woman saying thanks for buying a new iPhone for £399, and that Amazon was about to charge my account. Then she said if it wasn’t me, I should press 1 to talk to someone. I just ended the call straight away!

I got a call from 0148235473, some recorded message about my Visa card, sounded like an American accent. Definitely a scam.

So yesterday, this number called me twice, once at 11:23 and again at 20:04. I picked up the first call and a woman said my call blocking service from BT was about to run out, then tried to connect me to someone to sort it out. I wasn’t having any of it and just ended the call. Then today at 1:39pm, I got another call from 01482354067 with the same spiel, and yep, I hung up straight away again.
