Got a recorded call saying money was taken from my bank card - total scam, just bin it fast.

Someone rang up saying there were suspicious transactions on my Visa card. They didn’t specify if it was mine or my wife’s card, but strangely enough, they had all our correct details including name and address. A real bank would only talk to the actual cardholder, not just share info between spouses. When I asked them to prove they knew the last 4 digits of the card, the person just told me to trust them and then abruptly ended the call. Felt really dodgy to me.

Got a call from a recorded message saying there was a problem with our BT broadband and to press 1 to speak to an engineer. The funny thing is, we don’t even have BT internet!
