I've gotten three calls now, all with the same automated message from a lady who sounds American, and it’s about some credit card fraud. It’s been pretty annoying.

Got a call from a lady with an American accent saying something about “bank fraud” - didn’t bother listening and just ended the call. When I rang back, no one picked up (big shock there!) and after a few minutes it switched to some message like “the other person has disconnected.” Blocking it seems pointless since they'll just call from somewhere else, so I’m blocking every call from the 01482 area code. Don’t know a soul from Hull, so no harm done.

Got a robocall claiming to be from ‘Visa’ saying there was some dodgy activity on my credit card for like 400 and 700 quid. They kept asking me to press 1 or 2 and all that jazz. Definitely a scam, so I’ve blocked the number straight away.
