This number rang me up and there was this automated voice saying I’d been charged too much on some overseas money transfer. Then it told me to press 1 to get a refund or 2 for something else. Definitely feels like a scam to me. I don’t get why the authorities and watchdogs don’t step in to stop this kind of thing.

Somebody called claiming to be from Visa, telling me to press 1, so I just hung up straight away.

I got a call from this number with an automatic voice claiming that ‘they’ have put a £600 charge on my credit card. Thing is, I have no idea who ‘they’ are or which card it’s about, and then they asked me for my card info. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.
