Yet, I’ve just experienced a dodgy call claiming there were peculiar transactions on my bank account, similar to what others have mentioned. I wouldn’t be surprised if this educational institution ended up with their line compromised, allowing scammers to exploit it for their nefarious activities!

Received a call claiming to be from my bank, mentioning two transactions: one for £400 and another for £240. They offered options that I never even selected, and then, as if on cue, the line dropped.
#Undoubtedly a scam!
