Got a call earlier today but my call-blocker stopped it from coming through. The number’s linked to a fridge repair firm in Hull, but when I contacted them, they said their number’s been misused - some scammer’s apparently phoning people all around the UK pretending to be them. Only pick up if you’re waiting for a refrigeration-related call.

I got a call earlier today from 01482354043. The person on the line was a woman with a very strange accent and her voice sounded a bit like a recording. She kept going on about issues with my Amazon account, but I don’t use Amazon Prime, so it was clear to me this was dodgy. When I said I didn’t follow what she was on about, she just hung up. Feels good to find out this number is already flagged as suspicious. I've blocked it now and would really advise everyone to steer clear and not even chat with them.
