I know all these companies that ring up and want to chat. I always tell them to say exactly where they’re calling from. This one lady said she was from Scottish Power, I just said I’m not interested and ended the call. These endless calls are really tough for me since I’m Autistic, I just wish they’d all bugger off and leave me in peace.

I’ve had a bunch of weird calls like this over the past year or so. Every time I pick up, they ask if I’m Richard, even though it’s obvious I’m a woman. For ages, I just said no and hung up. But now, since they ring me a few times a week, I say yes just to see what happens. They then try to sell me something, last time it was Scottish Power. I’m not sure what the scam is here, unless my number’s been sold and linked to the wrong name or something?
